Set the plan scale

Enter the real distance between the two points you selected.

This sets one reference scale. Confirm a second dimension before construction use.

Design in real dimensions

  1. Drag a light from the library onto the plan.
  2. Select it to edit its position, height, rotation and group.
  3. Add a plan image, then use Calibrate to set its reference scale.
  4. Draw walls with two clicks; doors and windows snap to nearby walls. Draw room and gypsum polygons by clicking corners, then Finish shape.
  5. Use Layers to show, lock and reorder objects. Front / back controls apply within a layer.
  6. Resize or calibrate the image without rescaling any drawing. Lock the image layer before tracing.
  7. Export to render downloads the visible plan image. Choose an angle, copy the prompt, and attach the image with it in ChatGPT.
  8. Magnetic rails are black and do not emit light. Add separate magnetic light modules; select a corner to choose with or without light.
  9. Download the project to keep a portable backup.

This is a concept layout designer. Generic fixtures, scene levels and draft exports have not been validated for installation or lighting performance. Use Ctrl in place of ⌘ on Windows. Copy/paste applies to plan objects within this studio session. Hidden layers still count in quantities; the plan image in exports follows visibility. Generic symbol dimensions and specifications are editable planning inputs. Projects save in this browser; download files for backup and moving between devices.
